There are many reasons to jump on the paleo bandwagon. Unfortunately there are a lot of misconceptions about the diet and a lot of nitpicking (Can I eat dairy? Are potatoes paleo? Processed foods generally are higher in sugar, sodium, unhealthy trans and vegetable oils and refined carbohydrates. In addition they bypass our innate abilities to know when we are full and contribute to weight gain.
